“Sides [Bonus Track]”
Earmilk just premiered the last bonus track for New Memory. It’s a tune called “Sides” and I wrote it around the beginning of the recording process for New Memory. You can download the 10-track album (+2 bonus tracks) on my Bandcamp for free. It’s also on iTunes and Spotify if you want to preview the entire thing before you download. I’ve also got Vinyl and CD copies at my label webstore if you fancy physical items. <3
Hey everybody, today is the big day! I’m so glad this is finally out. You can download the 10-track album (+2 bonus tracks) on my Bandcamp for free! It’s also on iTunes and Spotify if you want to preview the entire thing before you download. This will be my last arrange release for the foreseeable future. I hope you all enjoy it. I’ve got Vinyl and CD copies at my label webstore if you fancy physical items. <3

The Fader premiered the official music video for “Caves” today! I shot / (poorly) edited / directed this myself. I hope you like it and share it with your friends. My new LP, New Memory, is out on July 10th via my own Arranged Recordings.
this caught me completely off guard. i love you guys. <3 but anyway, my friends like to talk about records and they decided to do one this week about New Memory. I’m completely flattered. <3
Though Malcom Lacey’s Arrange is a project that is not widely known, it has a stalwart, vocal online fanbase that quickly and eagerly devours every bloop or clack Lacey releases. Seemingly on an upward trajectory, which was boosted mightily by last year’s breakout Plantation and maintained with the recent EP Five Years With the Sun, Lacey looks to make another big step with the upcoming mini-LP New Memory. The album comes out July 10th via Lacey’s own Arranged Recordings [link], but all pre-orders came with an instant digital download of the whole album. Having had the album for some time, NSB writer Kevin Tappin and I took a little bit of time to discuss the album. Click through the “read more” to find our thoughts on Arrange and New Memory.

hey guys! here’s the second single from my upcoming full-length, New Memory. It comes out July 10th! <3
i listen to new memory and i go from liking it one day to hating it the next. i do this with everything i’ve ever released. in the scheme of things it really doesn’t matter much what I think of the work. it’s done. i’ve put those thoughts to tape and they’ll never be taken back. if anything these records are my thoughts set along to poorly produced instrumentals. i’m a sad guy most of the time, but there are things that make me happy. my husband. our dogs. it’s nice to know that people listen to me and feel things. but i can’t help but listen to my records and feel an intense disassociation with the person who wrote them. like i’ve let so many people, most of which i’ll never know, into my mind. these often dark places where i struggle to fully realize how i’m going to go about changing myself. i don’t know if this sort of release therapy works. i’m sure it does. goodnight. <3
The master copy is in my hand and I’ve started to send out the digital record out to everyone that helped with the kickstarter. I’ll release the record via bandcamp for free (donations are welcomed) like Plantation on June 25th. Until then people can pre-order the 12” vinyl over at my new webstore and receive the digital the day they place the order! Sweet, eh? I hope you guys like this record as much as I do.
